“Having complied with the corresponding procedural deadlines as stipulated by the Criminal Procedure Code, the Public Prosecutor’s Office informs that Mr. Nahuel Agustin Gallo has been detained after attempting to irregularly enter the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, concealing his true criminal plan under the guise of a sentimental visit,” he said.
“This individual is under investigation for his connection to a group of people who, from our territory and with the support of international far-right groups, sought to carry out a series of destabilizing and terrorist actions,” Saab emphasized.
“He is at the disposal of the judge in accordance with what is established by our Constitution and national laws,” the Attorney General pointed out.
“The statements and actions taken by the Argentine government, using the relatives of the accused, as well as the judicial ruling issued by the Mendoza Federal Chamber, clearly demonstrate the complicity of the authorities of that nation in the subversive plans aimed at attacking the Venezuelan state and its legitimate institutions,” Saab asserted.
The Venezuelan Attorney General reaffirmed that his institution will remain steadfast in its “supreme duty to preserve and defend peace, sovereignty, and the principle of self-determination of peoples, as fundamental pillars upon which our Republic is built.”
